Volvo Takes Lead by Offering Lifetime Warranty

Volvo lifetime Service warrenty

Having your vehicle serviced when it’s not covered, it gets really expensive but you don’t have to worry about it anymore, thanks to Volvo.

To get your vehicle, which still falls under warranty, serviced from an authorised service location or a dealer is not hefty on pockets. It could void the warranty if you do it otherwise, this is why many motorists opt for a third party garage to undergo service and maintenance, once the warranty is off. The reason for opting these garages is cheaper parts and labour.

So where does the Volvo fit in all this?

The Swedish automaker, Volvo, is leading the class by offering state-of-the-art safety and infotainment systems into their production cars. Their warranty is already one of the best but what they have come up with this time is genuinely brilliant. They have found an excellent way of bringing back the off-warranty service business to its dealers. In the whole process, the aim is to set their customers’ minds at ease.

So what is this brilliant idea?

Well, the North American division of the Swedish auto manufacturer has recently introduced a lifetime warranty on labour and parts to its customers under “Pay Once and Never Pay Again” Warranty. After the factory warranty, these Volvo vehicles will get free of cost Volvo parts replacement and labour as long as the owner owns the vehicle. All you have to do is to get your old vehicle in for service at the authorised dealership, pay once and never pay ever again in case if your vehicle faces any problem.

Volvo Service Advantage is the new hot thing

This life time warranty is a part of company’s broader programme, presented as the Volvo Service Advantage. Other parts include diagnostics, free software updates, car wash and a loaner vehicle. But bear one thing in mind, the coverage is strictly limited to the replacement parts only, the accessories and wear items are absolutely not included in it. Just to get a clear picture, for instance, if you somehow break your ski rack, or get your brake pads worn out, you will have to pay of them as they are not included in this warranty.
