Finally! First Ford Mustang 2015 Rolled Off the Assembly Line

The long wait has ended with rolling off the Mustang’s first global model from assembly-line

 

People at Ford says that it was the day they have been waiting for ages, the very first production model of 2015 Ford Mustang with first ever Ford EcoBoost engine has rolled out of production line. It is the first right hand driving layout Mustang that has been exclusively produced and designed for global marketplace. It will be introduced in Australia and UK market real soon. The Flint Rock plant in Arkansas is exclusively producing the Mustang for the first time and these models will be sold globally in Ford’s markets.

Ford has a huge market share in over 120 countries and on six continents and all of them love the Mustang.  This is one of the most important cars in the Ford’s line-up and since 1964; more than nine million Mustangs have been sold out. Now the whole world is about to witness the sixth generation of pure American Muscle car, the all time favourite Ford Mustang.

In the sixth generation, Ford is focusing more on power delivery and doing its best to make sure that their past short-comes doesn’t happen in future vehicles. It has two new powertrains to deliver the power more efficiently. Ford engine department has introduced the EcoBoost engines for the first time in Mustang. The Mustang 2.3 Litre EcoBoost engine has direct injection fuel system which is further powered by variable cam timing and twin scroll turbochargers. All these tweaks will help in power generation of 310 horsepower and torque of 320 lb-ft.

The all new Mustang GT 2015 continues with 5.0 Litre engine in V8 pattern but with upgraded valve train, intake manifolds and cylinder-heads. This engine is capable of producing 435bhp and a torque of 400lb-ft.
